Matters arising from the minutes
1. Review of Super surgery,
Alternate MAF site; Allotments are privately owned.
Surgery build cost covered by the doctors practice
Planning permission concern:
101 houses built already.
Environment agency can only confirm if the surgery site is in the flood plain once the plans are in.
Discussion on transportation / access to the site.
2. Survey of 303 (37.9% of 800) Newtown residents
Main areas of concern are:
1st = Planning, 2nd= Flooding, 3rd = parking
These concerns are not just limited to those directly affected by flooding
3. House Insurance awaiting response from Laurence Robertson
4. PPS25 LR and MH responded to Dave Witts;
Confirmation from Peter Bide that PPS 25 is to be incorporated into the planning regulations improved clarity; It will be out for consultation at approx. end May for 3 months.
All groups must consultant on the planning regulations
Minutes agreed all in favour.
2. Watercourses Map
Dave has identified watercourses in blue and main ditches dug out in green on the main EA watercourses map.
All Members are to identify all Ditches in green on the Google maps and download a more accurate map if required regardless of their state.
Dave to transpose results on the main map.
Elmstone Hardwick PC to do also
Helen to ask Swindon Village PC if Swindon village can do the same and provide the info to Dave Witts
To be incorporated into national (By area) GIS mapping system
Helen to ask LEGLAG if they would like to do the same
3. Neighbourhood plans
Helen to ask Julie Wood and Dryden McNair at Borough council for help with a template Dave to send link from council website to Helen.
All Residents associations and local Parish councils to work on neighbourhood plans urgently.
These will be taken into account within Borough planning.
Helen to share any structure templates and guidelines with the group.
Developers are also able to put in their own development plan.
4. Neighbourhood planning Vanguard
Certain areas awarded part of national $1mm Gov. Fund. As a grant for projects as an award for development growth.
5. Other business
Over 50 attended the MACA meeting
SAAVCFG have a really good reputation now Well done everyone.
Northway issue: litter pick day 22nd May.
Possible petition outside the Co-op.
Co-op staff to volunteer. / provide funding
All to discuss with their residents associations / parish councils if they wish to do the same on the 22nd May or other date.
Get red bags from council and define clear area to ensure bag collection.
