This is the same area now with the land built up and houses erected, building up land is illegal according to government document PPS25, but who polices the building work? Tewkesbury Borough Council.

The Eastern bypass land was built up in the floodplain  the road displaces water into Newtown houses.

This picture was taken by a student of Tewkesbury School for a geography project she was doing, it shows the land that Wheatpieces was built on, that Mr Shaw of the TBC insists was not built up in the floodplain. The picture below shows the sites from the same vantage point flooded.

This picture was taken of the Bredon Rd site on 22 / 07 / 2007  at 15 : 44. It shows that the land for the footings are being built-up using earth landfill which is illegal according to PPS25.

This picture were taken on February 6th 2002 just after we had a total of 41.5 mm of rain between January 31st and February 5th 2002 41.5 mm = 1.6 inches. small compared to what we had in July 2007 Yet according to Tewkesbury Borough Council the Bredon Rd site does not flood.
